The jaw setup above is compatible with several vises, including the Goliath, both large and small versions of the CamLock (such as the PalmControl CamLock, Goliath CamLock, or CamLock mounted on a Titan vise).

The jaw setup may also work with other brands of ball vises, provided the vise jaw supports include a center dowel pin hole. To check compatibility, remove the pin plates from the top of your vise and inspect for a dowel pin hole. Refer to the section below for details on dowel pin lengths and fitting.

Also in development is a larger nesting support that will hold two sets of jaws per side. This setup will require two jaw sets plus the large support nest. We're aiming to release this, depending on our current production workload.

FracJaw (aka MorphJaw - Vise NOT included. $635  add_to_cart.gif

It is possible jaws can work on other makes of vises but for now they are recommend for owners of PalmControl vises PalmControl CamLock vises, Goliath vises and CamLock Goliath vises.  Let us know which you plan to place the jaws on.

We will be filling orders of those that have sent a down payment first.  Please be patient as we work through orders and as Steve produces these.

If you plan to use with a PalmControl vise see information about PalmControl vise pin length lower on this page, and if needed order replacement pins for your vise.  If you have one of the two Lindsay CamLock vises that you plan to use the jaw with, you will need these two special screw pins.  Select which you will need.

Two Special Screw Pins for attaching jaws to
Goliath CamLock Vise (square jaw version) - $46  add_to_cart.gif
Note: If you have a round jaw version Goliath CamLock then you will be using dowel pins, not these "screw pins".

If you’ve already made a down payment, your final price will be reduced by that amount. To place your order, please use the order buttons on the website and add a note during checkout stating that you’ve previously sent a down payment. If you have the order number for that payment, include it—it will help us locate it quickly. If not, don’t worry; we can still find it.

When submitting your order, for payment method select either “Check in the Mail” or “Bank Wire.” Once we receive your new order at the full amount, we’ll reply by email with the adjusted total, reflecting the deduction of your earlier down payment.

PalmControl vise - FracJaw (aka MorphJaw)

For fitting your PalmControl vise the pin distance needs to be the correct height.  Check your vise's pin height by first removing the pin plates from the top of the jaws by removing the two screws, then lift up to remove.  Under each pin plate you will find a pin.  Insert this pin in the top of the jaw and measure its height.  The pin height needed for holding a FracJaw is between 5/8" and 1/2".   If yours is over or under this length order replacement pins the length needed to make the height requirement.  See two examples below.

If you will be using the jaws on a PalmControl vise check your current pin height and order replacement pins if needed.

Check your pin fit.  Your pin should be a close slip fit (no force) into the hole of the vise jaw.

This pin is sticking out under 1/2" high therefore longer pins need to be ordered.  Remove the pin and measure.  For example this one is 1" long, so the next size that needs to be ordered is.  1-1/8".

This pin measures just right since it measures between 5/8" and 1/2", therefore no replacement pins are needed.  If yours happens to measure right at 1/2" it is recommend to go a head and order the next size up so that the height is 5/8".

Depending on what you are holding you may want to line the faces of the jaws with leather.  The steps so that you can do this yourself are included with jaws.  A shammy works well for the leather from your local hardware store.  Or you may order the leather here.
